No, unfortunately I've never cruised aboard her, but for those to whom her story is unknown; Length: 79,5 m Beam: 12,8 m GRT: 1,964 t Built: 1935 Harland & Wolff, Belfast, Nothern Ireland Operator: Epirotiki Line Speed: 10 kn Passengers: 200 in one class Former name: Calabar 1935-53 She was built for Elder Dempster Line, Liverpool for the West-African coastal trade and during the 2nd World War she was used on the West Africa - Cape Town run. In 1953 was sold to Epirotiki, in 1966 was converted into a cruise ship and in 1970 she was fully refurbished. In 1970 she was doing one-week cruises from Piraeus to Aegean islands plus to Turkey. Before (don't know the year) going to the breakers, she was sold to a Saudi company called Shobokshi Maritime for use as a workers' accommodation vessel. In April 1980 she arrived in Singapore for demolition by National Shipbreakers Pte., the work was commenced in October the same year and finished in February 1981.
