HELP-Quickly--need room for Port Canaveral

Need a recommendation for a nice hotel on the beach with a great pool at a reasonable rate that allows for free parking and shuttle service to the port!

 

Wow, I want alot...don't I! We have stayed at the HOLIDAY INN oceanfront--wasn't impressed. Like the way the Radisson looked on the web, but not oceanfront. Doubletree is my front-runner at this point, but I would like some more input!

 

Remember:

nice pool area

walk to beach

reasonable rate

park and cruise :)

The OP is looking for a hotel in PORT CANAVERAL which is hours from Fort Lauderdale.

DoubleTree is a good choice. I read on other threads that the Hilton is a nice choice too.

Actually, Last year we stayed at the Lago Mar in Ft. Lauderdale! It was great and I got it at a reasonable rate for the room we had! We would definately return if we were sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale

It's $165 for one night (there are some room that are less but we waited to long to book). The good part is that if you are gone for 7 days that saves you $84. You can't beat that!
