Transfer a booking

Is it possible to transfer a booking from a travel agent to Royal Carribean? My mother booked the cruise, she only paid $200 deposit but I thought she was booking it directly with the cruise line and it turns out to be some agency I've never heard of. It was booked yesterday and we don't have a written confirmation from them yet. I'm a little concerned. Does Royal Carribean use travel agents? I'm not sure how she got to this agency because I thought she had Royal Carribean's number. Help.

You should be able to call RCCL and tell them what happened and they can do a three way call to cancel it. If they won't do that then I would cancel with the TA and re book the whole thing through RCCL.

Book the new reservation FIRST, then cancel witht the TA- so you make sure you get what you want!

Some TA's will charge your mother a fee to cancel a booking. You shoudl ask about that, also.
