Portofino's Question on Adventure of the Seas

1st - can one make reservations for this restaurant prior to boarding just as one can on Celebrity?

 

2nd - is it open the 1st night even though we will not be leaving San Juan til 10pm?

First night Portofino's is open, no ressies needed. I have never been able to make advance reservations, but I believe concierge passengers do get that privilege. Can anyone confirm?
