so by doing this you were not allowed on the ship til everyone was allowed to get on?? wow!! that would have drove me nuts.

 

 

THAT'S RIGHT..........

I was in a hurry to get back on so that I could

move my clothes,,,,,,,,,I had left them in the first cabin.......

My Sept cruise I'll have the same cabin........

I felt like my things were in the way of cleaning...........

I wish that someone from the purser's desk would have walked

with me and I would go through costums and turn around and get back on ship.........

Not have to go through security,,,,,,,,First I had to stand in line,,,then

go through security............

I TALKED WITH THE PURSER'S DESK,I WAS TOLD TO BE

THE LAST PERSON TO GET OFF.....

I WENT THROUGH CUSTOMS AND WENT ON OUT TO GET

BACK IN LINE TO BOARD THE SHIP AGAIN.......

AFTER GOING THROUGH SECURITY,I DIDN'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH

THE LINE TO CHECK PAPERWORK.........THEY SENT

ME TO ONE OF THE LADIES,AND SHE TYPED ME IN AND

I WAS MOVED TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE............

I CHATTED WITH THE WORKERS THERE AT THE PORT............

AND WHEN THE SHIP WAS READY I WAS FIRST TO GET ON..........:)

 

Thanks to Barbara and everyone else for clarifying that at least you don't have to take your baggage off as well -- I would not have been at all surprised if that would have been required. Then, yeah, that's a pretty cool deal, though I guess if you're moving cabins, it's somewhat of a drag to have to pack all your luggage only to have to repack it later. But it could be worse. Much worse.
