WI-FI on the Cloud

We're on Cloud for 1612/13. Has anyone brought a laptop and tried WIFI on any of the ships? The connection in the computer room is generally slow to begin with. Is WIFI even slower?

I don't want to take the laptop if is as slower than the "direct" lines in the computer room.
