biglagoon Posted April 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2006 Apparently the Star Flyer wil be going to Tahiti for 4 years starting late this year! Hello would you tell me how you know this? Just wondering. I have been planning the Indian Ocean crossing for fall 2007 and will feel disappointed if I don't get to go. Anything you know about this change would be helpful to many people. thanks

I called Star Clippers in Miami today and was told that Star Flyer would be moving to Tahiti in mid December 2007. I have found news stories about this to show two time frames--end of 2006 and end of 2007. So that is why I called Star Clippers directly. I was told that information about this change for Star Flyer would me coming out in mid May. Also, according to person I spoke with, Star Flyer would be sailing as usual in 2007, including Indian ocean crossing. I guess we wait for more information.
