ooulio Posted April 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2006 Looking for something that will match the Glory! We also loved the Glory. We did it two different times. This past Feb we just did the Liberty Eastern. It was a beautiful ship. It matched it and was a little better. We loved the Liberty. Food was great. Help was so helpful. Islands were fun and even got to go to 3 different ones we have never seen plus a few we have seen before. Tortola,Puerto Rico and Antigua were new. I could do without Puerto Rico but Tortola and Anigua were beautiful . 8 day cruise was nice. Now we are trying to find one to beat the Liberty. Any ideas? Would like to stay on Carnival. I don't like RC. Only did one before but didn't like it. Disney is nice but too many kids and no casino. Looking for a fairly new one.
KruznKel Posted April 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2006 Sorry but the class of ship is different so you will not have the same experience.. But we just recently sailed on the Victory and loved it.. Will be sailing the Conquest soon.. maybe then I can compare.. but they are different no matter what.. V-Twin Posted April 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2006 My wife and I cruise on Victory 2/05, doing the Eastern route out of Miami and had a wonderful time. It's a beautiful ship and it's relatively new and all the important components are there: fun, sun and suds!(and food) We were also on Glory for it's 4-08-06 sailing and had a great time. Syrena Posted April 22, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 22, 2006 We were on the Victory for our very first cruise...May,7,2004...Western Caribbean. IMO the ship is beautiful! We loved it and plan on cruising on her again asap. The staff couldn't be better. I've never been treated that good at any hotel (And I've stayed in some of the best)! If we needed anything they went out of their way to be helpful. The food was wonderful... I didn't find anything wrong it whatsoever.:) Even though we've not sailed on any other Carnival Ships yet...we're thinking of the Valor or the Triumph this Oct...We just seem to know that the Victory will always be our favorite ship in the Carnival Fleet. You'll love the Victory. TIP: Bring comfy shoes..she's a big lady!:D :p Syrena
Buster27 Posted April 22, 2006 #7 Share Posted April 22, 2006 Have sailed both....they are very much the same...only the Glory is bigger, which in my opinion meant more crowded. I prefered the Victory. You will love it.
