Ive only been on RCCL, and Ive heard from past cruises that Carnival gives a basket w/ shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc. Do they still do this?

Yes there is a basket - the contents vary, mostly samples - in March we got razors, sample Ponds face cream, mouthwash, small shower gel - can't think what else. However there is very nice Dove shampoo and body wash in containers on the wall in the shower so you don't need to bring that.

Forgot to add that that was what was in the basket during the first week of the cruise. During the second week, in a different cabin, our basket included everything you see there as well as a pack of 3 razors for her and a pack of 3 razors for him.

In our bathroom on the Legend, there was also Hair color for men, how do they know if you have black, brown, or blonde hair by just you name? We left that one when we packed to come home..( I don't remember "hair color" on the fun pass form,LOL)

Cruised the Fascination 3/06 and in our basket there was: disposable razor (men's and women's, nice one's too), good sample size of in shower body lotion, 4 sample sizes of Crest toothpastes (each flavor would prob last 2 days), mouth wash, dental floss, and probably some more things I cannot remember but there was a lot!!! In the shower there was Dove body wash, it was very nice and very moisturizing!! And Dove shampoo..was surprised that was in the shower and plentiful too
