Fiveoclockhere Posted April 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2006 We have been discussing with our marketing firm a program for a cruise geared towards baby boomers on the issues around estate, long term care (for parents and adult children) and financial planning. So, the idea would be that you would fill out paperwork ahead of the cruise that set out your personal circumstances (which is standard for this type of planning), and then on board have a mini-trade show where there would 2 or 3 seminars a day to choose from plus personal consultation time with lawyer and financial planner. The goal to be disembarking with a clear plan. The cruise would otherwise be typical and cost in line with any other cruise, although the initial planning and seminars would truly be without obligation and consultative/not salesy. Does anyone think there is a market for this? Does anyone know how to contact the cruise lines to introduce a new theme like this? We have a strong track record of providing seminars on these topics and are well-regarded in our home markets (which are coastal and support many cruises).
