victory sailing from norfolk

my wife, 16 yo son, and myself are going on the victory from norfolk october 8th. would be interested in any info from others that have taken this cruise. is parking at norfolk terminal close by, and how did embarkation go. how about a hotel close to port. will there be other teens aboard at this time of year?

 

 

going to bahamas, any advice as this will be our first time. must do items or places to see. we are just a little overwhelmed, but know it will all be good. we have fun at all we do.

 

how is the ship? anything we should know that may not have come up here on the boards lately. have been checking and learning what i can over the last couple months. lots of good sounding advice.
