Is the Celebration a great size ship to get around and find everthing without walking or riding for a million miles.

I am physcialy handicapped and I found the Fantasy-class ships to be a big too large to use just a cane.

Any thoughts and ideas?

Here is information on this ship from http://www.access-able.com

The Celebration has 14 accessible staterooms, ten outside numbers; M76, M77, M78, M79, M80, M81, M94, M95, M96 and M97. The numbers of the four inside staterooms are; M88,M89, M92 and M93. The rooms are 185 square feet (not including bathroom) and the inside staterooms are slightly more accessible. The inside stateroom doors are 31" wide with no sills and the hallway is 33” wide. The outside staterooms have 29” doorway. The bathroom doors are 30" wide with 6" sills which are ramped. There are 4" sills at the showers which can also be ramped. The showers do have hand held showers, shower stool and grab bars. The toilets are 17" high with grab bars and the sinks are 31" high.

The following public areas are not accessible: the Sun Deck, the Bistro, the Trolley, balconies in show lounge and pools and public restrooms.

Carnival has alert kits for guests with hearing impairments which can be fitted to any cabin. These kits include visual notification of the door knocker and smoke alarm and there is a vibrating alarm and phone amplifier. Please notify in advance if this equipment is needed. Service dogs are permitted with the required documentation but may not be allowed to disembark at all ports.

Accessible cabins should be booked directly through the Access Desk 800-438-6744 x70025 to ensure that you specific needs are met.

If walking is a problem you may want to consider a scooter rental, but be aware that most will not fit through a regular cabin door, so an accessible room would be needed.
