Help! Transportation from JFK to Cape Liberty

My family is sailing on Explorer June 2. We are flying into JFK and need transportation to Cape Liberty in New Jersey. There are 14 of us. Any ideas for the best way to get to and from? Any idea of prices?

 

Also, any good hotel ideas? Because I am the only one who has cruised before, my family expects me to figure out all of the answers. :eek: I can negotiate my way around Miami and FFL, but New Jersey and New York are new to me! I could use the help...

Uh oh... I hope you saved lots of money by flying into JFK as opposed to Newark.

 

Are you flying in the day before??? Or staying a day later?

Well, transportation is the biggest obstacle. Try these people. . .http://www.goairporter.com/

 

Then book a hotel near the airport which has a courtesy shuttle, I think one or two of them have shuttles to the Port. If not, a cab will run about $30.00+

 

For the return, I would see if you can't buy JFK transfers directly from Royal Caribbean.
