My DH and I are on the Oosterdam on the 12/2 cruise. We chose this as it was offered by a poker site as a poker group cruise, we love to play Texas Holdem. I know that there have been cruises like this on other lines, Carnival being one of them. I was told that the only way to enjoy all of the poker rooms and festivities was to book through the TA for the poker site. So we did and are really looking forward to the cruise and the Oosterdam.

 

Has anyone else been on one of these poker "junkets"? If so can you tell me a little about how it all works? Are there specific rooms set aside to play? What hours are they open? I know they can't play while in port, so we will enjoy the ports (which we've been to before). But any other information would be lovely to have. Thanks!
