Scooter Rental in Ketchikan

I noticed an earlier post on this board about renting a scooter in Ketchikan, which sounds like fun for the family. However, I cannot seem to find any information other than it was somewhere near the dock.

 

Does anyone have specific information about these rentals, like how much $, age requirements, company name, etc?

Just remember, that Ketchikan is one of the wettest places in Alaksa, and riding a scooter in rain IS NO FUN!!!

On the days that it is raining he doesn't rent the scooters out. I am not real sure where he is setting up this year but it will be within a couple of blocks of the visitors center. From the reports I got last year the majority of the folks that rented them had a fun time. Also, sometimes, occasionally we get awesome weather here in Ketchikan. When it's good, it's better than Hawaii.

Actually on both of our trips we had no rain in Ketchikan, so I guess we got the lucky days. But we did hit the silvers running on last trip and the Saxman village was closed early so the carvers could go fishing!!! It would have been nice to know this before buying the excursion!!! But hey, it was the silvers.

When the fish are running you gotta take care of business. Check out the prices at Safeway in Ketchikan and you'll understand.....
