LindaandJeff Posted April 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2006 How much noise from overhead do you get on the Caribbean deck inside staterooms on Zenith? From the deck plans it looks like it is right under the kitchen...also is there any smell that drifts down? A little worried...we don't usually do rooms under any public space or work space, but this deal was just too good to pass up. I know we won't be spending too much time in the room especially since there is no balcony/veranda...but still would like to be able to sleep a little in the morning. Thanks for your help! DGF Posted May 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2006 In monitoring web sites for our upcoming Dec 06 cruise aboard the Zenith, we have accummulated following comments on noise relating to the Carribean Deck Caribbean- Deck 6 Cabin Number: 6127- Nov 05- Although it is under the show lounge, we heard no noise at all. (Note-Report of cabin location may be wrong- appeasr to be located under the kitchen) Cabin Number: 6116- Dec 05 We had dining room chairs and carpet cleaners over our heads all night long. It was the longest 14 days of our lives. As a matter of fact Celebrity refunded all of us substantial cruise certificates because we did not sleep well at all. Cabin Number: 6155- Feb 16, 06. We were in Room 6155 with another couple in 6157 Feb 11-16. We didn't notice any noise from above. We turned in around 11-12 nightly (okay, maybe 1:30 one night) and slept fine. Due to our aft location, there was a little bit of vibration each time we left port, but it settled out quickly and we were fine at sea. We were in 6061 last May - I was a little concerned about noise because the cabin is below the Martini Bar, but it was a very quiet room. Hope the above helps

brigittetom Posted May 9, 2006 #6 Share Posted May 9, 2006 We have had an inside cabin on the Caribbean deck and we had absolutely no noise problems. We do always close the casino, on the other hand there was no noise from above in the morning either. We were mid ship.
