Majesty/Bermuda Questions

I've never been on this ship nor sailed to Bermuda. (Thought I'd try something new.) Since it spends 3 straight days in St. Georges, could someone tell me if the ship is dead during that time? Are passengers expected to be entertaining themselves/dining ashore?

As a solo passenger, I'm sort of dreading freestyle dining. Anyone have any tips on good places to meet friendly tablemates on board?

Thanks!

I can't comment on Bermuda but was on the Majesty in Feb and when you go to the main dining rooms, tell them you would like to share a table, they will seat you with others and you will meet folks that way. Plus, we found folks to be very friendly throughout the cruise at all of the activites so you will meet folks that way also.

Have a great time!

I've been on both the ship and itinerary several times, most recently last summer. Although the ship is docked, there is a wide variety of activities. Meals are served as usual, and there is daytime and evening entertainment, but none of the big production shows. Both the casino and on-board shops are closed, as is typical when docked in any port.

BTW, the best show we saw last year on the ship was on one of the evenings we were docked. :)

The ship has to have things going on to draw the passengers back! Look forward to great deck parties every night (which must end at midnight due to ordinances in St. Georges), and plenty of entertainment below decks. It's a great cruise, and a wonderful little ship. We're looking forward to our sixth cruise on the Majesty to Bermuda in June!
