11th Avenue Inn B&B Seattle

Recommended Posts

My DS, BIL, DH and I have booked two rooms at the 11th Avenue Inn B&B in Seattle before our June HAL cruise to Alaska. Is this a good location and would anyone recommend it? Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help.

It depends on what your interests are - if you wanted to spend your time in the downtown area, then this location is a bit out of the way. You would probably need a taxi or else take the bus. You COULD walk, but as I recall, it involves a hill (it is Capital HILL, after all :) ). I personally wouldn't walk it, but that's me. You would also have to cross over I-5 via one of the overpass streets (Denny or Pike). If you wanted to soak in the local atmosphere of Seattle, then that location is good. The area around 15th and E John has interesting restaurants (Coastal Kitchen). The Broadway area also is an interesting area with many small shops and restaurants. Hope this helps.
