Vancouver to Victoria

BC Ferries is the best way to get to Vancouver Island, though you'll need to rent a car to get there. It's a nice trip. We did it after our Alaska cruise.

You sail from Vancouver - Victoria (Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay) . We made reservations well in advance. We got there early and were able to take an earlier ferry. Victoria and Vancouver Island are very nice.

You'll have to get back to Vancouver the same way. If you are going to Seattle, there's another ferry, the Coho Ferry that leaves from Victoria to Port Angeles, WA. It's not a long drive to Seattle and it's very scenic.

Have a great trip.

The best way to go from Vancouver to Victoria is on the Gray line bus .Go to the bus station in Van.and buy a ticket it includes the ferry and the bus will drop you off behind the Empress Hotel cost is about $25.

I've done some research and have found the following. Grey line only does tours. If you're looking for transportation only, Pacific Coach Lines picks up at the cruise port at 11:00 AM daily and provides transportation via bus and ferry to Victoria. I was quoted $41.50 one way to downtown Victoria.

Alternatively, you could take a 5 minute cab ride to the bus terminal, and then take a Pacific Coach Lines bus to Victoria from there. They have buses on every ferry sailing, every hour during the summer.
