vesw01 Posted May 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2006 You don't use the whole thing? Do you transfer it to another cruise and can you request to get your money back?
jckvpa0 Posted May 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2006 I'm not a 100% sure but I would think the credit is used up first before they use your credit card. Tips would come off first.
StacyandTim Posted May 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2006 If you have a balance left (owed to you), they will cut you a check on the last day of the cruise.
serene56 Posted May 9, 2006 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2006 It really depends on how you got the Onboard credit. Did you place it there or earned it by booking a cruise on a particular sailing. DId you get it by your cruise coming down in price? If you placed the cabin credit you get a check back on the last day for the amount...which you can cash at the pursers desk. Other OBC that is earned through a reduction in price or by booking a certain cruise--- use it or lose it. Some credit that is earned cant be used for tips. Cotton Posted May 9, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 9, 2006 Ok, Serene, now you're confusing me.:D Anytime I've gotten shipboard credits (lower fare, whatever reason), IF I have anything left over (fat chance!), I've gotten a check under my door the last evening. Once it was for something like .67 cents! Hmmm...I think I still have it.;)
