When is the best time to book your next cruise?

I know, RIGHT NOW..... but is it best to book on a ship, so you can get a cruise credit or with your travel agent/Call RCCL direct? This is for 2008 possibly. I want to go to Eastern Caribbean next itinerary cause we are going on the Western this year. Would you wait until next year or later this year?

Thanks,

Deana

No harm in booking on your cruise, since you can usually put down a smaller deposit and also get that shipboard credit. That's assuming you want to do the same cruise line again. I'm assuming RCI is like Princess, where you don't actually have to book a specific cruise. You can do an open booking, and pick the ship and dates later if you want, and you can also give this booking to your travel agent.
