Just got cabin assignment

We're sailing on the Coral Panama Canal cruise. We booked a guarantee BF balcony cabin. We just got our assignment and its a BB Aloha deck 12. Will we be hear lots of noise from what goes on above us? It looks to me as though we're under the pool area. Also, is our balcony covered?

We've always had pretty good luck with guarantee cabins. I'm just wondering if our luck was still good.

We are not fans of booking under anything other than another cabin. It seems on my very first cruise on the Norway we were under the pool and there was always some noise above it. But others will tell you it does not bother them. I am a light sleeper and it was a big problem for me.

 

That is something I would not do again...we now book strictly under other cabins.

If you are under the pool you will hear the workers pulling chairs around on deck at night.

Aloha is my favorite deck; 1 flight of stairs to the food. I have heard chairs but once they are moved they are moved. Also depends on the location of the room; you can look at a layout of the ship and approximate what you are under.
