mousecrazy Posted May 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2006 During a visit to Juneau last September, I think I remember a tour guide telling us that there is an all-you-can-eat crab feed available at the top of the tram...the cost of the feed includes the tram. Can anyone confirm or deny? I believe I remember her saying it's not published, just something you have to know about and ask for when you purchase your tram ticket. Bucky3 Posted May 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2006 Have not heard of this - but that crab feed might make me get up there!! Hope someone answers soon as we're going next week!
Italy52 Posted May 11, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2006 Found a crab reference in my Frommer's Guide for Alaska 2006 edition. Go to http://www.goldbelttours.com and click on the Mount Roberts Tramway entry. That's where you will find the info on the crab fest.
no_wake Posted May 11, 2006 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2006 I was there last fall and went up the tramway. No signs of Crab. Great views though and excellent photos of the ship!
vespagirl Posted May 11, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 11, 2006 The Timberline Bar & Grill, at the top of the tram, has an all you can eat crab feed with salad bar, but it is not included in the price of the tram ride.
