MS Ameda

My father, a retired RCCL captain, saw the MS Ameda in Bergen harbor today and wonders which ship is used to be. A Google search only turned up a reference in a Vietnamese newsclipping and that is will be going to Alta, Norway once this year and once next year. Does anyone know more about this ship's background and its current operator?

Might you be referring to the AMADEA of Phoenix Reisen, Bonn, Germany, the ex ASUKA of the Japanese NYK Cruises?
