I wonder what kind of ride the guys had going down the Chesapeake Bay with the winds and rain of Ernesto right there.

Hi Darrell - We're safely back and it wasn't bad at all on the Chesapeake. There was some motion from the ocean and it was too windy to go out on deck that first night, but we basically slept through the worst of it.

We also had rain in Miami on Sunday and in Cozumel on Monday. The weather was great the rest of the week.

The worst thing that happened was a problem with one of the rudders that slowed us down getting back to Baltimore yesterday. Instead of arriving at 6:30 a.m., it was closer to 2:30 p.m. But we were still home by 5 p.m. and Smokey and Tigger were really glad to see us.

We'll see about getting together soon.

Ooops! I see I need to reset my countdown clock. While we were on board we booked a cruise next September 7th for 9 nights on the Grandeur to New England and Canada.:)
