Hi,

We have a friend that is single and thinking of traveling with us next year on the Conquest. We have been advised to book a 1A.

Anyone have pics of a 1A or suggestions for a cheap cabin?

Wanting a deal.

Thanks,

Teena:)

I'm a solo cruiser. I'm assuming your friend knows he will have to pay the single supplement for his cabin. This would be 150% of the regular fare for a 1A cabin. Anything above 1A category would be 200%. Yes, they really do make us solo cruisers bite the bullet.

However, my Carnival PVP has always managed to get me into a cabin with one or two portholes for the 150% rate. You might want to ask about those cabins when you're talking with your booking agent. There aren't that many of them, and I have managed to snag one by booking a specific (not guarantee status) early booking.

Good luck.:)

Hi Teena,

I have cruised solo in the past and had a 1A room. There is plenty of space. The rooms are big for 1 person and lots of storage for luggage. Have a great cruise. I sailed the Conquest 1/06, it was a great time.:)
