Mercury 8004??

Recommended Posts

As soon as Celebrity's new itinerary for Auckland-Sydney came out, I immediately reserved a oceanview balcony cabin (the prices are really super!). Then, after checking the boards here, a couple of people suggested that 8004 and 8007 (without balconies) are even better because they are 250 sq. ft. instead of 170 sq. ft. and that they are really hard to get because they're the first to be booked. Was able to change our reservation to 8004 (for Feb. 3, 2008 - still almost 2 years away!!). Has anybody else been in either 8004 or 8007 to confirm that this was a move for the better?? (Took 8004 because it's Starboard and we'll be on the NZ coast on that side for most of the cruise.)

Thanks.

You made agreat pick! I have been in this cabin 3 times. It has a great view across the bow......you can even see to the opposite side of the ship. Overhangs the water so you can look straight down to the surface.

Large window too!
