jeffdal Posted May 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2006 Ok, I need a bloody mary to start the day and before I save all the deck chair for my friends (just kidding). What time does the bar open???
*CruiseFan* Posted May 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2006 I'm pretty sure it opens at 10 -- don't hold me to that though. All I know is I've seen our friends get a beer at 10 (if they're even up that early), but it actually might be earlier...9:30 perhaps?
suzy1212 Posted May 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2006 My Capers from the Conquest last December say the pool bars open at 8:30 am. Lobby bar at 9:00 am.

Caribbean Dad Posted May 22, 2006 #8 Share Posted May 22, 2006 I know of a few "cabin" bars that are open 24/7. ;) :D
*CruiseFan* Posted May 22, 2006 #9 Share Posted May 22, 2006 AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Suzy -- that's awesome, LOL. Sorry I thought it was 10AM for some reason, I don't know why. Perhaps it's because prior to that they're still "opening" so I don't bother heading over there and because the waiters on deck aren't really in full force until then? I wish I could have given you the proper time, I'm so sorry!
AppleValleyCruisers Posted May 22, 2006 #10 Share Posted May 22, 2006 I know of a few "cabin" bars that are open 24/7. ;) :D That's what I was thinkin. The poor room service staff must have thought our cabin had a case of morning scurvy with all the tomato and orange juice ordered promptly at 6:30 AM:D
BelizePlease Posted May 22, 2006 #11 Share Posted May 22, 2006 And here I thought we were the only ones who ordered juice from room service! :D I think the room service girl knew what was up on our last cruise...she left us the tray of drinks...smirked...and yelled..."Enjoy your JUICE!" :p
AppleValleyCruisers Posted May 22, 2006 #12 Share Posted May 22, 2006 History, symptoms and treatment of scurvy....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scurvy I see that the BelizePlease and AVC group does their part in keeping a CCL vessel scurvy free! I would kindly suggest everyone does the same* so that this doesn't become yet another Dateline, ET, Travel Channel or Oprah debacle. *Please remember to extend a gratitude to the cabin service staff;)

Here, here. The last thing we need is the main stream media fixating on "The Great Cruise Ship Scurvy Outbreak of '06". So order that juice and drink up to your health...and do tip well.
