Sendlimes Posted May 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2006 We will be cruising on the Explorer with our 2 20-something sons. We are used to Delaware beaches with a shore break and would love to find a beach with nice rolling waves. One that is not too crowded would be a plus! dongordon Posted June 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2006 I also love to body surf. Although this does not answer your question regarding Bermuda, if you ever cruise and stop off in Barbados, the best beach I have ever been to for body surfing is Crane Beach. There is usually a day charge to get into the hotel, but the scenery, water and waves at Crane Beach have made Barbados my favorite port! The Cruise Advantage Posted June 3, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2006 Go to Horseshoe Bay. It will provide you the best opportunity for the best waves. It will be crowded near the entrance, but walk towards the middle of the beach because it will be less crowded. Think of bringing a body board or two for added excitement.
