Stillfloatin' Posted May 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2006 We won't be in port long. Is this enough time to see Virgin Gorda or do you suggest shopping in town and staying close by?
Scubachick84 Posted May 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2006 If your ship offers Virgin Gorda and the Baths as an excursion I would definitely recommend it. It's about a 30-40 minute ferry ride and then a short shuttle ride to get there and it's well worth a stop. Alternatively, the town doesn't have a ton of shopping, a jewellery store, a spice shop and then the usual island wares as well as a flea market. We got a cab driver to take us on an hour and a half tour of the island for $6 per person and that was also beautiful. He took us to the restaurant at the top of the island which has 360 degree views of the BVIs and the USVIs.
