PAMWANTSTOCRUISE Posted May 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2006 I am so confused. Are there multiple locations in Jamaica?? My travel agent said there isn't one in Ocho Rios, but the website said there is. Can someone help. Thanks
AkSusan Posted May 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2006 Definitely one in Ocho Rios as we were there just earlier this month. The other one on Jamaica is at Montego Bay. Susan :)
theotherchad Posted May 25, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2006 Is it walking distance from the cruise ship docks (Royal Caribbean)? Likewise for the Hard Rock. Some may find it cheesy, but these places are my favorites for souveniers, as they (especially the Hard Rock) always have cool designs in Tshirts & hats that are unique to the location. We just brought back a Hard Rock shirt and hat for our very picky 20 year old son and he thought it was the greatest thing he ever got for a souvenier. AkSusan Posted May 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2006 We were on Princess and it was an easy walk. And actually if you park where the Voyager of the Seas was that day, your walk will even be shorter. Believe Hard Rock is just a little further up the road. One of the people we were with went and then walked back to the ship with no problem from there as well. Susan :)
theotherchad Posted May 25, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 25, 2006 Thanks for the quick answer! At this rate, I'm going to get all my answers within the next few days and then forget everything by December, when we actually get on board! :)
TheWog Posted May 25, 2006 #6 Share Posted May 25, 2006 Definitely a Margaritaville in Ocho. You will have a great time there. There is a two story waterslide that goes right down through the bar. Short walk from the ship pier and there is a beach as well. If you go on the margaritaville website and find the "Lost Shaker of Salt" you will get yourself a free margarita too. It can be found in the shopping section usually.
