Are ther many whales in sitka?

What kind of whales might I see in Sitka? or will there only be other wildlife.

The last several years, humpbacks are frequently seen all season. Used to be they "stopped" here later, but now are here. Sitka is home to a year whalefest every Nov. This is your only inside passage viewing area for sea otters and puffins from a tour.
