Bug Question

Ok We will be coming to Bermuda in Aug. I was wondering with the bugs so bad today. How are the bugs in Bermuda? Do we need bug spray? Thanks for information in advance.

I have been to Bermuda five times and have never encountered any mosquitoes or anything else. Bring it if you are more comfortable having it, but I don't think you'll need it.

Did you forget about the flying cockroaches? Don't panic! They are harmless! The only time I saw them were at the waterfront at St George.

Saw many cockroaches (palmetto bugs) when we were there (not in our room though, Elbow Beach). We would see them at night on the paths. I Probably noticed them because I hate bugs so I was on the lookout for them and remember it is somewhat tropical there. Oh we also saw a really, really big spider but no pesky bugs like mosquitos, black flies, green heads ect.

What time of year did you see these bugs? I was just there the week of 5/14 and did not see any...thank God!

The ones we saw were in July.

Didn't see any bugs in September.

I've seen those, but they are nothing that a spray will work on. You can saddle some of them up. Well maybe not that bad, but they are big. I hate bugs. Can you tell?
