Is Glory better for "tweener" than Miracle?

My son is a "tweener" meaning he is not a little kid anymore yet he is not yet a teen ager - he will be just shy of 13 when we cruise. I booked us on the Miracle but now I see the Glory has a teen center which the Miracle does not - which kids my son's age can visit. Does anyone have a recommendation? All other factors are fairly equal (itinerary, price, Tampa vs PC). Even though my husband, my son and I will spend much of the cruise together, I know my son would be thrilled to meet some other kids his age and the teen center may make it that much easier. But then again it may be a place for the older kids to gang together which in that case I would prefer a ship without a teen center.

Hi. My son was 11 last year on our Glory cruise. His exact words (when I asked him how the teen center was) were, "It rocked!" In fact, he had such a great time on the Glory, we are booked on another Glory cruise for 11/27/04. Our last cruise, my 17 year old stepson was also along. The older teens seemed to be more into hanging out (trying to act like adults--or so they thought) and they really didn't use the teen center at all. Hope this helps.
