Bermudalou Posted June 3, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2006 Kings Wharf (Dockyards). You will be docked at the western most parrish in Bermuda(Sandys Parrish). At the dockyards there is Dolphin Quest(swim with dolphins). There is a new snorkle park. Also museums, glass blowing, rum cake factory,& shopping.(shopping is not our thing). At the Dockyards, have lunch & a drink at the "Frog and Onion". We will be docked at the Dockyards in July. There are also beaches & things to do in Sandys Parrish. We'll be trying Daniels head or Mongrove bay beaches. Have a Great Time!!

DFW4 Posted June 3, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 3, 2006 Just returned from Explorer/Bermuda 5/28 sailing. Not all that much to do at Kings Wharf. The snorkle park beach was not really worth the walk from the ship. My recommendation is to buy the bus/ferry pass $12 day, $20 two-day and ride to Horseshoe, or some other beach. Shop in Hamilton for much more selection than the few shops at KW. We also did the cave tour on our own. $15 per cave, or both for $21. Definately worth it, and not too bad of a bus ride from Hamilton.
