I sailed the Tropicale im June of 86 on my High School Graduation Class trip. Oh boy what a fun cruise!!! We went to Matzatlan, Cabo, and Puerto Vallarta. Those were the days!!:D :D

We sailed on the Tropicale for our honeymoon in June 1985. We left from the San Pedro pier in Long Beach and went to Puerto Valarta, Mazatlan, & Cabo San Lucas. We've been on a bunch of cruises since, but we haven't gone back to the West Coast. Would love to one day though!!

Not sure about your date but I did take the Tropicale (New Years 1988-89), as my second cruise out of LA down the west coast of Mexico. It was not a very well run cruise and my last Carnivale cruise overall.

 

My first was on the Festivale (New Years 1987-88) the year before from San Juan PR and that was a fun cruise!
