Infinity Room 6105

Has anybody ever used this handicapped room on the Infinity? We are sailing to Alaska next year and would appreciate any feedback you have about the room, it's views and/or how noisy it may be. Thanks!

We sailed the Infinity last Oct. we were in room 7137 which is one deck up from 6105. We loved the room but agreed that we were glad we didn't book the room next to the elevator. At night the elevator is lite up and the lights carried over to our balcony. You could hear the elevator going up and down and the people on the elevator talking when sitting on the balcony. Any one on the elevator can see onto the balcony of the cabin right next to it. If 6103 or 6109 are available you might want to consider booking one of them. My husband had no problem getting around the room or out on the balcony in his wheelchair. Hope this helps.

We were in 6103 on the Infinity 8/01/04 to Alaska. The balcony in our cabin was a bit larger than 6105. There is a slight lip on the balcony door, but my Mom was able to transfer and walk a short distance so it didn't present any problem.

On the Constellation, we were in 7139, next to the elevator. We didn't have any problem with elevator noise. The conversation level by guests who had nearby balcony cabins was louder that those from the elevators.

There is ample room for a wheelchair in these cabins and the bathroom is well designed to allow for transfer. Mom especially liked the fold down seat in the shower and the two safety bars by the toilet. Throughout these ships, there are ample assessible washrooms.
