Superstar Virgo

Disillusioned

Recommended Posts

Our trip on board the Virgo was meant to be a dream cruise - a celebration of 25 years of marriage. We booked a cabin in balcony class and were so happy at the prospect of this lovely holiday - our first in 8 years since emigrating to Australia. Our dreams were soon shattered when on only the second day on board my rings both wedding and engagement and a gold dolphin pendant chain were removed from our cabin. As far as I'm concerned they were left in the locked safe.

The security department's handling of the affair was absolutely useless so my advice to all travellers aboard this ship is to be super vigilant with your valuables better still leave them at home.

If you follow my other posting on the Virgo you will see that I have been on the Virgo about 50 times in the last 1-2 years. Being a gambler my wife always put my cash/gambling money in the room safe when we are not gambling,ie,about 5 times per cruise trip. Never had any lost money with the cabin safe before.

So as much as anyone would sympathise would with you, any suspision that you have is,in my mind without foundation. I don't know what else to say to you.

John
