Trouble booking Excursion

I am taking my wife on our first cruise for her birthday. We are leaving on June 15th and going to Cozumel. I am trying to book an excursion in Cozumel, buy everyone that I try to book says we cannot book it. It says that the excursion is not available for one or more of our guests. I have tried 3 different excursions. Is this a typical problem? Do you think I will be able to book one of the ones I was hoping for once on board?

Are you trying to book on the cruiselines website? It sounds as if the excursions may be sold out, or closed since it is close to sailing. The cruiselines hold a limited amount of excursions to be sold on board. I would recommend going to the excursion desk as soon as you board to book the excursions you are interested in.
