wotan Posted June 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2006 We are going to be in St,Petersburg on the "OCEANIA"in July.we have booked 2 days of private touring with Denrus. How reliable are they?We want to include the Alexander Nevsky M onastery and the Yelisev Food Store. Are they worth seeing.Denrus proposes to take us to Catherines Palace,Peterhof,St.Isaacs,Church of the spilled blood,Peter and Paul Fortress, and a general city tour.We plan to spend the third day in St,P on our own in the Hermitage and Winter Palace and on the nevsky prospect. Any suggestions from those who have been there?
JodiBB Posted June 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Denrus, Red October and Alla are the 3 main independent tour companies in St. Petersburg and they are all very reliable. As far as doing the 3rd day on your own, you are getting your own Visa for that day, is that correct??
