Hello. I'm looking to choose a name for a business. If you were a first time cruise customer looking for an agency, which Cruise Agency would you be most attracted to do business with (simply by the name)? See poll at top of this page.

This is coming from someone relatively new to cruising.

Personally, I could care less about a name...I go straight to the prices and base it only on that! Also I would suggest a website that is easy to navigate and informative because I have been steered away from companies that have a shady website.

Cheapest Cruises or Super-Discounted Cruises unless you were to specialize, them Family Cruising might spark an interest. The one that would get my strongest interest would be something Scuba Cruises or Cruises for Divers

I think Toys R Us would give you problems with Crusing R Us...I would see which of those names have domain names available and decide from there.

Good luck with your business :)

then it is all about service and lowest prices.

In order for most newbies to find the business in the first place, assuming they would search the phone book (or google if it is an internet business) for CRUISE, I would think that Cruise should be the first word in the name.

I ,too, would be leary of a new business. You may get first time cruisers with a catchy name, but only if they don't know about cruise critic! If they come to this site they will learn to go with an agency with a lot of experience and a good track record. Perhaps you can hire someone who has a good client base to bring with them to your agency! Good Luck!
