Sea Days/Port Days

We've sailed the Western and Southern Caribbean with Carnival and now want to plan an Eastern. On our two previous cruises we had four ports and two fun days at sea. It appears that the Eastern cruises are always three ports and three days at sea. Does anyone know why this is? We'd love to find a cruise that would do four ports and two sea days. Thanks.

The Eastern fall sailings of the Elation have 4 sea days. Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas. The sea days are sprinkled in between and are 3rd and last day on the ship.

It is because the distance traveled from the Continental USA, you would have to sail out of San Juan to mitigate that.

As previous mentioned only the Elation seems to have more than 3 ports. Of course I like the 3 port cruises. W8ing2, are you planning one this year, next fall or next summer?
