I'm so glad to hear John Lawrence is still around.. he was CD on three of our early 90s cruises on Princess and remains one of my all time favorites.. his "If I Were Not Upon the Ship..." skits were hilarious.. he's a huge asset to the company IMHO>>a very classy guy.

We were very fortunate to have John and we sailed with him before. His sense of humor made the cruise so much better. But when we spoke to him, he said that this is might be his last season. He picks what itineraries he will do. If he will deside to retire, cruising community will miss the best CD IMHO.

I will try to post a short review in a couple of days.
