Morningstar beach snorkeling? Yes/No?

We are going to St. Thomas on our cruise. I read somwhere on a post here that we can go to morningstar beach (because it is somewhat more quiet than the others) and get some great shore snorkeling in (assuming we bring our own snorkeling gear). Is this true? I googled morningstar beach and read that there is no snorkeling there?

 

Can anyone clarify?

 

Or maybe other suggestions than morningstar?
