Strange Coz question

My dh is a volunteer firefighter. He enjoys visiting different fire departments when we travel. Where is the fire dept at cozumel? Would he be able to visit?

The fire department or "bomberos" is located on Avenida Juarez and 55 Avenida. They frequently have visitors from fire departments in the U.S. It would be appropriate to bring a t-shirt or patch (or several) from your fire department to give them as a gift. I believe you can purchase t-shirts from them.

 

Any cab driver will know where to take you. Bomberos is pronounced:

 

Bom rhymes with Home

ber like grizzly bear

os rhymes with toes

 

The accent is on the "ber".
