Jewel - Mediterranean Port Arrival Times

I’m curious about arrival times in Livorno (Florence) and Civitavecchia (Rome). To anyone that has been on the Jewel this year for the Western Mediterranean cruise - can you please tell me if the ship arrived before 7:00 am or if it was delayed and what was the earliest time passengers could disembark? Thank you in advance for this information.

civitavecchia-we were due to arrive at 10:00 a.m., after the ship was cleared by customs it was nearly 11:15 a.m. before we got off, we were on a ship's tour to rome.

livorno-we were due to arrive at 7:a.m. and were cleared by customs to disembark by that time.hope this helps.

Is that on the current Jewel Med. schedule? Isn't it supposed to be a 7AM arrival?

11:15???? We are supposed to meet otu guide at 8:00 AM and be in Rome by 9:15. Fist disembarking at 11:15 will really kill the day. We had hoped to do the coliseum, wedding cake, etc in the morning and the Vatican in the afternoon. The guide said we'd be back at the ship by 5 or 6 o'clock. First getting of the ship at 11:15 will wreck those plans. I know that safety comes first and the captain can't control the seas or the weather, but I sure hope that NCL has us there nice and early, like it says on the itinerary

Please note the poster specifically said THEY were scheduled to arrive at 10:00am. You indicate YOU are scheduled to arrive at 7:00am.

 

Rather difficult to compare their 11:15 departure to your planned departure, which is before THEIR ship was even scheduled to arrive.

We arrived approx 7am and at 8am we were meeting our Driver in Rome guide for our all day tour. Hope this helps!
