Diamond Cabin A304

We just received our cabin assignment for our cruise in August to Alaska. Diamond Cabin A304. We took a chance and did a guarantee. We were upgraded! I looked at the ship and this room is shaped differently from the other inside rooms. I am a newbie so bear with me.

I remember reading somewhere about hump rooms. I tried a search and couldn't find it. Has anybody stayed in this cabin that could give me a heads up?

Is there anyway for me to find out what the whitened out space is on the around the group of cabins where we are assigned? (A409) I've gone to different web sites to see if any of them would have this space labeled but they don't. Also , the room goes horizontal instead of vertical.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The whited out space is usually crew areas where the supplies for cleaning, etc. are kept. Sometimes they are pretty large with separate elevators for the crew to use.

Thank you Sea Day Cruiser. I was just being nosey as to who or what was in there? We will enjoy being close to the pool!
