Hi all,

We are booked on the Triumph sailing July 31st, Eastern Route. We are tenitively booked in Rm. 7211. Wondering if anyone has had this cabin or one near this..and how it was for noise, etc.

Thanks,

Tammy

Empress deck is a great choice because there are cabin decks above and below so you will not have any noise or smells from the clubs/casinos/restaurants to bother you. 7211 is pretty much right under the bridge.

I was down the corridor closer to the middle of the ship on the Victory (which is the same layout) and the ride was super throughout the trip.

Being all the way up front you will probably have even less foot traffic past your door so it should be really quiet unless you have some party hardy neighbors.

Enjoy!

We always book Empress deck on Carnival for the reason mentioned by the previous post. There are cabins above and below. We have always had stern cabins so I don't know about your location but it should be nice and quiet.

Not a bad deck....i just got off triumph and i was on this deck. Only problem is what kind of neighbors you will have. I saw in the back of the ship two kids pushing on their door and trying to lock each other out but instead the door slammed behind them and they both got locked out. Then the noise stopped, but i was no where near them...i had nice neighbors. The cruise director also got locked out of his cabin and was looking for someone to open his cabin. Those where the only commotions going on.

starfire, where is the "secret door?" I would love to know.

Sailing on the Splendor in October. We are staying mid ship..I think it's room 7360. We always chose rooms between cabin floors. One time we were under the spa and they made noise all night, cleaning and moving furniture and then the dreaded clicking of the high heels. I finally made it up there and found the exact spot. There was a wood floor under the massage tables. And yes, like everyone else says, it depends who your neighbors are! Have fun!

Go all the way forward on Deck 7 on the Triumph. On each side (after 7207 &7208) there is a door that will say 'Caution: Strong Wind'. Best view on the ship and hardly anyone there. But the best for picture taking of the sides of the ship is Deck 9. Right above the bridge.

Looks like the same on the Splendor as well.
