bepsf Posted June 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2006 From the article about the christening of Crown Princess in NYC... "Domestic diva Martha Stewart also spoke fondly of past cruises -- she has done four Atlantic crossings on Holland America's Rotterdam and Maasdam, Cunard's Queen Elizabeth, and former French Line flagship SS France (which later sailed for NCL as the SS Norway). "I think we were down in steerage," she joked of one voyage during the days of the class system. "I won a contest for best hat design ... made out of hangers and soap bars I stole out of the bathroom!""
dougnewmanatsea Posted June 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Judging from the fact that FRANCE and QUEEN ELIZABETH were both retired well over three decades ago, I have to wonder if perhaps she sailed in the previous ROTTERDAM and MAASDAM?
