Hotel Recommendations in Orlando

Good Afternoon,

I will be travelling on the Elation April 9th and I want to spend a few days in Orlando to take the kids to Universal Studios (fell Disney is to babish for them...teens!!!).

Can anyone recomend a decent hotel in the area??

How much is a shuttle/taxi from the Universal area to Port Canaveral?

We are going the 28th of Jun and are staying at the Portofino Hotel at Universal. There are 3 different hotels on the property you might be interested in. By staying at the hotels there you get front of the line privliges on all the rides at Universal and Island of Aventure. We are also getting a all day eatting wrist band at the Island for like $20 per adult and I forget home much per child. Check it out. It is a bit pricey though.

Thank you. I see that it is about 1 1/2 drive to the port from the Universal Area, thinking maybe I should stay someplace central????
